Ride out disclaimer

Adventure Bike Ride Ltd will accept no responsibility for the actions of any person attending the ride out. By signing this form each rider acknowledges and understands that:

Motorcycles are considered dangerous and accidents causing death, bodily injury, disability and property damage can, and do, happen. Riders are responsible for their own actions and any consequences of their actions when riding a motorcycle.

As consideration for being allowed to participate in the ride described below I
acknowledge and understand:-

That motorcycle activity is a potentially hazardous and dangerous activity which can be a test of a person’s physical and mental limits and carries with it the potential for death, serious injury and property loss. The risks include, but are not limited to, those caused by terrain, facilities, temperature, weather, condition of riders equipment, vehicular traffic, actions of other people. I hereby assume all of the risks of riding in this event.

I realise that liability may arise from negligence or carelessness of the part of the persons or entities organising or conducting this ride and hereby release them of all possible liability.

I certify I am at least 25 years old.

I promise not to sue and agree to pay all court costs and all legal fees that result from my action, civil or otherwise.

I certify that I am physically fit with no known physical or mental impairment and have prepared for participation in the ride.

I acknowledge and understand that this Accident Waiver and Release of Liability form will be used by Adventure Bike Rides Ltd, in which I may participate and that it will govern my actions and responsibilities at said rides.

I certify that I am not under the influence of any narcotic, alcohol or other drugs that may impair my understanding or judgement and that I will not at any time during the ride operate my motorcycle under the influence of any narcotic, alcohol or drugs.

In consideration of my being permitted to participate in this ride, I hereby take action for myself, my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors, and assigns as follows:- I Waiver, Release and Discharge from any and all liability for my death, disability, personal injector, property damage, property theft or actions of any kind which may hereafter accruing to me during the ride out.

Accordingly, I do hereby release and discharge Adventure Bike Rides Ltd from all claims, demands and causes of action of every kind whatsoever for any death, damages and/or injuries which may result from my participation in this event.

This shall be construed broadly to provide a release and waiver to the maximum extent permissible under applicable law.

I hereby consent to receive medical treatment, which may be deemed advisable in the event of injury, accident and or illnesses during the ride.

I agree to pay for any and all costs related to medical response, treatment and transport on my behalf.

I certify I will wear the personal protective equipment while operating the motorcycle at this event that is or may be required by the UK and that all required personal protective equipment is in a safe condition.

I agree to abide by the directions/rules given by the guide and understand and acknowledge that my privilege to ride may be removed without refund if I am in violation of the rules set forth or acting /performing in an unsafe manner, or any manner disruptive to the operation of the ride.

As additional consideration for being allowed to participate in the ride I hereby assign to the organiser any claim I have or might have, in contract or in tort in any way, shape, form or fashion arising out of its action, the actions of other riders or anyone that participates in or comes in contact with participants in the ride.

This assignment is intended by all parties to be a full and complete assignment of any claim I have against the ride organiser.

I hereby certify that I have read and understood all pages of this Waiver, Release and Assignment of Claims in its entirety.

On the day of the ride I will agree to sign a copy of this disclaimer.

Bookings and Payment

All bookings are to be made via our website, www.adventurebikerides.co.uk, or by telephone.
Payments are to be made by BACS, PayPal or by Stripe with the following cards only:

  • VISA, VISA Electron, Mastercard, Solo, American Express and UK Maestro.

We are unable to accept any other cards.
The ride fee will appear as “Adventure Bike Rides” on your card statement.
We will send an email confirmation to you when the booking and payment process is complete. The email will include further information as applicable.

Cancellation of a booking by you

Cancellation of a booking can be made up to 7 days before the booking.
All cancellation requests must be in writing and sent by email.
Upon receipt of the cancellation email, we will acknowledge said cancellation within 3 days.
The original booking will remain valid until you have received this confirmation.
You will be charged a cancellation fee, which will be deducted from your refund, as follows:

  • 8 days or more prior to the booking – 10% of the ride fee;
  • up to and including 7 days prior to the booking – the fee is not refundable.

During the ride, if a you are unable to continue for whatever reason, no refund of the ride fee will be given.

Transfer of, or changes to, the booking by you

Requests for changes to bookings must be made in writing and sent by email.
Upon receipt of an email requesting a change, we will acknowledge any changes within 3 days.
The original booking will remain valid until you have received this confirmation.
Changes are at our discretion and while every effort will be made to accommodate them, we cannot guarantee to make these changes.
Requests will only be considered if made 8 or more days prior to the ride date and may incur a fee.
Customers may transfer a ride date up to 3 times, and must be redeemed within 12 months of the original ride date.
Customers transferring a ride date will be liable for any increases in the ride cost.
We cannot be held responsible for the availability of a ride should you wish to transfer dates.
No changes can be made to bookings up to and including 7 days prior to the booking.

Cancellation of the booking by us

Adventure Bike Rides Ltd reserve the right to postpone or cancel bookings due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will offer you an alternative date, or a refund of all monies paid. We will notify you by phone, or via e-mail, as soon as possible prior to the booked ride.


Customers are covered by third party road risk insurance while participating on a ride. You may wish to consider purchasing Personal Accident Insurance prior to your ride.


If you feel that we have not met our obligations or are dissatisfied, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can resolve the matter before you leave. 
If you feel that your complaint has not been dealt with to your satisfaction, it should be brought to our attention, in writing, within one week of participation:

  • by post: Adventure Bike Rides Ltd, The Gardens, Sluice Road, South Ferriby, Barton upon Humber, North Lincolnshire DN16 6JG.

We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint within 7 working days and endeavour to fully reply to your complaint within 30 days.

Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be interpreted and enforced according to the laws of England and Wales and proceedings may be brought in relation to the matters set out herein in the courts of England and Wales.

We collect information about you during the checkout process on our store.

What we collect and store

While you visit our site, we’ll track:

  • Products you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed
  • Location, IP address and browser type: we’ll use this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping
  • Shipping address: we’ll ask you to enter this so we can, for instance, estimate shipping before you place an order, and send you the order!

We’ll also use cookies to keep track of basket contents while you’re browsing our site.

When you purchase from us, we’ll ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details and optional account information like username and password. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:

  • Send you information about your account and order
  • Respond to your requests, including refunds and complaints
  • Process payments and prevent fraud
  • Set up your account for our store
  • Comply with any legal obligations we have, such as calculating taxes
  • Improve our store offerings

If you create an account, we will store your name, address, email and phone number, which will be used to populate the checkout for future orders.

We generally store information about you for as long as we need the information for the purposes for which we collect and use it, and we are not legally required to continue to keep it. For example, we will store order information for 8 years for tax and accounting purposes. This includes your name, email address and billing and shipping addresses.

We will also store comments or reviews, if you choose to leave them.

Who on our team has access

Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, both Administrators and Shop Managers can access:

  • Order information like what was purchased, when it was purchased and where it should be sent, and
  • Customer information like your name, email address, and billing and shipping information.

Our team members have access to this information to help fulfill orders, process refunds and support you.

What we share with others

We share information with third parties who help us provide our orders and store services to you; for example —


We accept payments through Stripe & PayPal. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to Strip or PayPal, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.
