About the ride
Lincolnshire, the home of Yellowbellies, a cathedral, and gorgeous countryside; where better to embrace the scenic landscape on two wheels for a fantastic day of adventure biking?
Our Lincolnshire ‘Blue Run’ is a full day’s ride that flows from South Ferriby, Walesby, around the town of Market Rasen and the charmingly picturesque Willingham Woods.
The inner adventurer in you will be delighted to hear that this journey allows you to make a real splash, featuring two sections with a stream covering a superb country lane.
We advise against wearing your Armani suit for this one, as we continue to get rough and ready with more green lanes and a dirt track before repeating the fun sections on the reverse journey back, giving you another opportunity to make a big splash!
If this sounds slightly tiring, fear not! We’ll be stopping for a well-deserved cuppa and a snack at a café before the guided ride continues back towards home.
Core skills covered: familiarisation with the BMW R1200GS, green lane/trail riding, riding through water, stand-up riding.
Prices for our adventures include bike hire, third-party insurance, fuel, and all food and drinks; there’s nothing more to pay on the day.
Additional Information
Please arrive at our South Ferriby base in time for registration and briefing at 9.30am.
At the moment, we do not supply clothing, so you must bring your own.
- Helmets must be ECE 22.05 or equivalent and in good condition.
- Textile-type road jackets and trousers are fine, we’d recommend them being waterproof if you’re on one of our off-road adventures.
- Boots must offer adequate support and rigidity around the ankle.
- Gloves should be lightweight and offer enough flexibility in the fingers so that you can use the motorcycle controls.
We will check and inspect all clothing and equipment and assess suitability and any participants considered to be inadequately clothed or protected will be excluded from the ride.
If you have any questions then please have a look at our FAQs, or if you’d prefer you can call us on 01652 462067 or use our contact form.
